Somebody Please.........

........explain to me how gas, can go from .98ltr / $3.71gal to 1.21ltr/ $4.58gal back down to 1.08ltr $4.09gal in less than a week?

I always feel we are being ripped off all the time and I can't imagine what it is like for courier companies and the like to figure out delivery fees when gas prices are so unpredictable.

It all has to do with a dart, a dartboard, and a guy in a room in a basement somewhere.

Are you saying the millennials are responsible for gas prices too?

Elon musk bought all of your nations refineries and is restricting output in a deliberate effort to force you to buy electric cars. Alberta is going to look awful strange with charging stations built in the middle of nowhere every hundred miles or so.

Anyhow back to the original question. Typically when a price spike like this occurs there has been some kind of disruption in supply. I could be an oil pipeline problem, refinery fire, refinery shutdown for maintenance, ...

They expect all the U.S. drivers to drive drunk over St. Patricks day weekend and the gouging has bleed over into Canada.

I can head East or West, it doesn't matter as long as it's on 2 wheels.

But the prices go up quickly as soon as the "event" happens, same gas in the storage tank, and comes down much slower.

Having to use premium now is a price shock in itself
