The Hewn Distillery and Peddler's Village in New Hope, PA

We had a nice ride a couple of weeks ago to see the Hewn Distillery and Peddler's Village in New Hope, PA. Our trusty route 611 never lets us down.

Very nice presentation Joe. You said you performed jazz at The Deerhead in the past. What instrument did you play? Did you know Eric Doney? He passed a few years ago.

In my earlier years I was a pubic school music teacher (band director, etc.) with percussion as my major instrument. I spent the '80s, 90's, and 00's as a drummer in the Pocono resorts and surrounding areas which did include the Deerhead Inn. Names you may know of those I performed with were Tony Marino, Jesse Green, Paul Rostock, Spencer Reed, and others. I never did work with or meet Eric though. Thanks for watching the video. I know I've mentioned this before, but we do have to share some cigar time again one of these days. The weeks fly by though, don't they?
