He heard what he wanted to hear, or expected to hear, not a sincere compliment.

BTW, thier HD and Vette are both paid for in full.

A reminder that you don't always know who you're dealing with, or talking to, when you return what you take as an insult.
Well he is a friend, I drove him to the dealership to pick it up, sat 3 feet away as he signed his loan agreement and he had just got done complaining about when riding season ends he still has to pay, I'm pretty sure he's making payments. But cool story bro.

He should have said "Naw, just checking on the latest recall"

When I want to read a really good Harley thread, I just turn to VolusiaRiders.com

Well, I have had two, counting the new one!

BTW, didn't the C50's have one for an electrical harness?

And they should have one for that crappy thing that passes for a kickstand. Ten years and it's unchanged!

Well, since this was your post before, it hardly made it sound like you knew him.

You certainly made it come off like you were addressing a stranger.

Last time an HD rider said something negative about my bike I shrugged my shoulders and said mines paid for. He laughed and retracted his previous statement.

C50 did have a harness recall.

I can't reach the kickstand on a Softail unless they bolt some kind of an extender on it. (what a ridiculous place to put the kickstand).

The ONLY oil spot on my shop floor came from the shift shaft on my 1600 Kawasaki,...........known factory defect, covered under warrenty.

It is hard to reach even for me! All the big twins are the same. HD is "kind" enough to sell an extender... No penis jokes, please!

The only oil leak I had was from my Road Star. but that wasn't the bikes fault, it was the idiot tech at Diamond Motorsports here in DE that didn't tighten down the oil fill cap.

It's under the seat, and I didn't see the oil on my leg and pipes until after the 15 mile ride home.

It was just sitting on the very last thread. No way did he tighten it, ended up with 26,000 miles on that bike, and the only time it happened was on the way home from a dealer service.

Didn't know I should qualify my statements. Doesn't matter. You have a point about not knowing who you are addressing, and I said what I said to him cause I knew it was a sore spot.

Accurately telling a story wouldn't be qualifying your statement, it would just make you honest.

But I wouldn't want you to admit you misrepresented the story, even when it's right there for folks to see.

Carry on, the proof is in your posts. No need for me to comment further.

Wow. I tried to play nice by telling you I saw the point of your retarded story and still you can't let it go.
At no point in my original post did I say he was a stranger. Was telling the story exactly as it happened.
Go ***** in your hand bowtie.
