**** _______ down my shirt!!!

I live in NJ and took a cruise today along CR 524 with my fiance on the back. I was probably going about 50-55mph and got whacked in the front of the neck by a bug, but I though it bounced right off (like usual). So about 2-3 mins goes by and all of a sudden I start feeling this INTENSE pain on the left side of my chest. I gave it about 30 secs to see if it would go away or get worse....and of course it got worse! At this point I still had no clue what was going on. So I pulled off the road immediately and shut the bike down. I hopped off and still felt the intense pain. My fiance had nooooo clue what was going on. I took off my shirt and there it was.....the bug that bounced off of my neck was a bee! It obviously got stunned when it hit me and fell through an opening in the collar of my shirt. When it gathered its marbles it was pissed and unleashed some fury on my chest! haha. I have not been stung since I was young and I will admit, it is PAINFUL!

luckly I am not allergic and more important I am glad I did not lose focus while riding.

As for the bee, he was not so lucky.....

thought it was a funny story and im sure its happened before!

Been There, Done That.

Rode through a bunch about 2 years ago and one of them hit my boot; crawl up my pants leg. and announce his presence.

Ever see a 60 year old break dancing on the side of the road? Not a pretty sight.

Last week I caught a bee on the bridge of my nose. The friendly half splattered on my right side glasses and the bad side stung my nose. It certainly got my attention.

If you see a bug or bee coming at you it's already too late to do anything to avoid a smack.

Yellow Jackets

About 10 days ago I was riding my scooter to town and ran through a small swarm of angry yellow jackets. I heard a few of them strike my FF helmet and felt an immense pain on the right side of my neck. If you have never been stung by a yellow jacket let me tell you they hurt 10 times worse than a honey bee.

My buddy got stung in the ear while on our two-week trip to the east coast. He couldn't hear properly for days and had a hard time sleeping. Of course, he wears a half-helmet.
