Any interest in bagger parts?

I have a couple molds I'm working on, and thought I would see if there would be any interest in a couple of bagger parts before I go and start ordering materials.

Here's the run down - the parts will be available in black ABS plastic, you can take them to your painter to get matched to your bike.

I currently have a design for a chin spoiler (no, not the crotch rocket looking thing like used to be available), which I'm trying to have priced somewhere around $180 shipped to the lower 48.

I'm also working on a stretched dash piece that would come maybe 6" further down the tank. Still playing with the mockup mold to see what length looks best. Would be $140 shipped to the lower 48.

Would do package pricing of $300 shipped for both parts (save $20!)

Another idea I've played with is a replacement dash with a molded in radio dock space to mount a shark 723 unit in. I'm still refining the design for this one, and it is a ways out, if I do go into production.

Also working on a fairing design, but that is a ways out still as well.

Just thought I would see what you folks though, see if there is interest in the pieces for starters, and if there is a demand at those projected prices, before I go and make a metric crapton of parts. I would like to do them in batches of 50 for each design, but if there are only like 2 people who want em, I don't need to be sitting on $1000s in parts I can't move.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Input? Will have pics of prototype pieces within the next month.

I know this is old, but you still working on the chin spoiler? Saw the photos of the one on your bike. Just curious as to where things stand with that now. Thanks...

Thanks

I know the guy personally, he's still got the idea in his head but life kinda screwed up his timeline lol. We were just talking about this over the weekend actually

Ahh there you are dude! (Phantom).

Purplenova, as you can see, there was absolutely zero interest at all in parts to fit these beautiful bikes. Everyone wants to turn these fat cruisers into bobbers. Wrong damn platform IMO. Theyre cruisers, build baggers from them! Anyways, I did make a mold for a chin spoiler that was the same as my fiberglass one, and looked 1000x better than that crotch rockety lookin thing from shapemaster (fyi, the one in the vid was their gen 1, they knocked the chin portion almost completely off in later iterations). Their prototype was probably my favorite one they made.

Anyways, I had the chin spoiler mold, had ZERO interest in them. Made a stretched dash mold, same thing. Laid up one fiberglass piece of each, but thats as far as I got, got rid of the thermoforming equipment. Somewhere in the divorce and cross country move and losing the shop to the ex, the molds vanished.

Now if I made flat side covers and a 9 1/2" wide sportster fender, all the bobber boys would be lining up to throw their money at me, and probably their boyfriends' money too

The ShapeMaster deal fell through. After waiting a month, when they initially said it would fit, the day the invoices were to go out, they tell me it wont fit.

Prolly for the best. Not to bothered by it.

Thanks
