Why we are here:

To provide a family friendly environment to discuss tips, tricks and advice on motorcycle issues, trade stories from the road and meet with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. VR does not care about sex, race or location; we are bound together by our love of motorcycles. Though this site was created and is aimed at the Suzuki Volusia and Suzuki Boulevard motorcycles in mind, it is open to anyone interested in motorcycling.

 

Rules of the Road:

 

Account Types:

a)     Three types of accounts exist:

1.     Users – Create and respond to messages and message threads, post and review images.

2.     Moderators – Same abilities as users with the added responsibilities of moving and locking threads, moderating user interaction, voting on user bans

3.     Administrators – Same abilities as users along with the responsibilities of moderators as well as maintaining the full site including configuration, user bans and deletion and responder to admin@volusiariders.com email account. 

 

Accounts:

a)     Each person can have one (1) account on VR.  If you are found to have more than one account you will be asked to choose one and the others will be removed.

b)     Every account must have a unique and working email address. This address does not need to be publicly viewable, but it does need to work. Accounts with email addresses that do not accept mail will be suspended until the owner provides a good account.

 

Advertising:

a)     VR does not accept paid or unpaid advertising with the following two exceptions:

1.     Upon request a link to a web site will be added to the VR links page.

2.     Any member can post one (1) message to the vendors section with an introduction, to which other members can respond with reviews.

3.     Members can have a message signature that contains two links, one to their site and one to the message in the vendors’ section that talks about their business.

4.     Members can respond to other members requests for equipment to say that they have it and how much.

b)     No Flash/Shockwave graphic advertisements

c)      No Animated graphic advertisements

d)     No posting of daily specials

e)     NO SPAM

 

Photo Gallery:

a)     File size is limited to 128KB

b)     Image size is limited to 1024 pixels tall by 1024 pixels wide

c)      Images must be motorcycle or motorcycle event related

d)     Images must not contain nudity

 

Image Links:

a)     Images that do not contain nudity can be shown inline using the IMG tags

b)     Images that do contain nudity must be in link form only, and include a warning that they are not work friendly

c)      Images used in signature files can be no taller than 100 pixels tall and 500 pixels wide.

 

Messages:

a)     Messages should stay on topic for forum they are being posted in.

b)     No excessive use of swear words

c)      No Harassment or Personal Attacks

 

Off Topic Messages:

a)     Three message areas have been designated for non-motorcycle related discussions:

1.     Daily Laugh – Humor related messages

2.     Off Topic – General area for any non-adult discussions

3.     Playground – Almost no holds barred discussion, if you can’t take the heat don’t go there. This forum must still abide by the Image Links rules. This forum is not work friendly.

 

Warnings / Penalties (Unless otherwise noted):

a)     First warning for any violation is through Private Mail (PM)

b)     Second warning is a public warning to stop the activity and the offending material being removed by the moderators or administrator

c)      Minor offences will be punished with a 24 hour site ban

d)     Major offences, and second minor offence, will be punished by a 7 day site ban

e)      Second major offence and third minor offence will be punished by a 30 day site ban

f)        Third major offence and fourth minor offence will be punished by a permanent site ban
