Thanks for the insights - it's nice to hear from someone who's spent enough time with multiple contenders to evaluate their differences first hand. You got me with the Stratoliner being "easily" the fastest & most powerful - power good, and I love the looks of that thing...bet it can pull like a freight train (it kinda reminds me of a locomotive). As much as I like to dream I may not switch rides this year, the C50 is running too good and it's paid for which is a limiting factor since money's been tight. But thanks for helping me reinforce my wish list. Lotto ticket here I come.

Hi SahZOokee, I just noticed in your signature that you owned both a Vulcan 1500 Classic and a Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1600, nice bikes. I am looking into larger displacement cruisers/tourers and those are two contenders I'm very interested in, as well as the 1600 Nomad or Vaquero. Care to share your thought on how they compare? And do you have any particular information about how they'd stack up against a Stratoliner, Victory Cross Roads or Road King?
