Glad to be your friend. I thought when I joined this site it would be to ask questions and find out what I could about my bike. This has become secondary.
I also noticed the straight shots on your sons bike. Wish I could have 'em on mine, but I live in an adult community in Toms River NJ and if I cranked it up with those pipes, I'd have a string of EMTs pouring into the neighborhood. I had to be satisified with gutting one of the pipes. Not a bad sound, but louder is better.
