It's July in Atlanta. About now, all of my gear is heated.

My Joe rocket all mesh jacket is so good out west and down in Miss in the summer.Got protection but rest just mesh. Its turned that ugly brown now that most that gear does after way to many years in the sun but no troubles other than that.Cooler than just a T because blocks the sun and air just like its not on you.Drink all the water you can while riding.I stash five or six bottles easy to get at and drink some and pour about half over me after the wetting down at every gas stop goes away.Eat less and drink more water is the way for this old man to keep riding all day in heat.I stand up more than most allso. The Vstrom is perfect for that as was my 95 lowbar sportster. But I was a kid of 49 on that west trip.
