Hey there, folks. I'm usually on the VR about 5 days a week, checking the status of the Custom Mods section, but I don't do much other poking around, these days. I just wanted to give the heads up to my old friends here (that I'm not already friends with on Facebook), that I've lost 100 pounds since March 19th!

This picture shows a difference from the first 89 pounds. The picture on the right was taken during the first week. This is me, sitting on the same porch, and petting the same dog. I'm 378 pounds on the right, and 289 pounds on the left.

No. I've been doing it the old-fashioned way, through hard work and determination.
I've been following the caloric guidelines for an average weekly weight loss of 2 pounds. When I started at 378 pounds, to lose 2 pounds a week, I was allowed to eat as many as 2700+ calories a day. As the weight came off, so did the amount of calories I'm allowed per day. Now, I'm at 277, and I'm allowed 1770, plus any calories earned back through exercise. As far as the exercising goes, I've only been doing the treadmill, and strength training. The first 3 months, I didn't miss a day without walking. As my schedule got busier, I just added more for me to do, less days a week. I've been doing this the RIGHT way. I don't deprive myself of anything I want, as long as it falls within my daily calorie guidelines, or if I'm able to work it off through exercise. |
