Drove thru Sturgis past the Full Throttle Saloon this last Sunday (went back to SD for my pop's 90th B-day party) and the temp was 62 degrees.........almost couldn't believe it. T-shirt weather there in early December. I almost was wondering why I hadn't ridden the bike.

Had the grandson out this afternoon for a bike ride, we spotted a guy mowing his lawn.

Sunday the wife and I went for a little five county run before lunch. All we needed was jeans and a sweat shirt. I think things topped out about 75 degrees. Even in the deep south that's good for December.
I like global warming, I can ride year round and in a couple more years, Birmingham will be only 35 miles from the coast. Ride the bike to the Gulf for a day of boating and be home for supper. Sweeeeeeet |

Sideways rain at home. I'll be riding to Sturgis this August. While I am stuck here now, I appreciate your post. When I look out the window at the pouring rain and snow, my mind is always thinking about the ride to SD this summer.
and the great Missoula flood ride in June. I hope there is no snow in the passes on your way home. |

Don't get too excited about the nice weather back there. It is suppose to be mixed rain and snow this weekend.
