A friend of mine that I ride with had this done a couple of years ago, and gets around so much better with no pain, that it's hard to believe there are Drs out there who wouldn't do it because of his age!!! So tell you man to do the rehab faithfully and I've no doubt he will fare as good as my friend Jeff has!!!

Once he gets that new knee you better watch out.....next time he chases you around the house he'll be able to catch you

Had mine done in Jan 2012, at age 45. Was golfing by the first of May and comfortable holding the bike up by the first of June. Hope all goes well. I have 3 words for him- REHAB REHAB REHAB. This becomes his job and has the biggest impact on his recovery. No regret, life is good.
