The keys to joint replacement success are:

(1) Listen to what the docs/nurses/therapists say.
(2) Don't lie around afterwards; get up and move, often.
(3) Do the exercises like they are your new religion.

The harder you work at your rehab, the better your outcome. You'll get out of it exactly what you put into it, plain and simple. So push, and then push harder!

I will most certainly keep Dave, and you, in my prayers. Give him my best, Robyn, and let us know how it goes.
