Woo Hoo, I won "the lottery"..."the Super Bowl of Nascar."!! In terms of personal accomplishment, I managed to pick 4 drivers that all finished the race, and I am currently ranked in the 99th percentile nationwide. Man, I can't even describe the emotions.

I would like to take this moment and announce my retirement from Fantasy Nascar. My trophy and I are going home now.

So for those who weren't here or forgot the story. Rank was running away with 1st place in 2010...I decided the only chance any of us had in catching him was to give him the crown early. So at a midsummer rally I gave him a nice Nascar cap to crown him as the champ. Sort of worked...he has spiraled down since then, but someone else snuck up and beat me for first place.

I think for the Fantasy league player, starting the season at Daytona is pretty cruel and disheartening. I think it was last year I turned on the race with about 10 laps to go and I had 4 drivers in about the top 10. My best driver finished 15th and two were DNF. Track positions didn't seem to flip-flop as much as past years this time, but as always the wrecks collect up a lot of cars.
