Got my new exhaust on today and rode it around the block and notice the new pipes stink. Is this normal?

That all depends on what they smell like....Generally all exhausts smell when they are new, they use lubricants etc in the bending process and manufacturing. This will burn off when they are first used due to the heat from your exhaust gases. |

Ditto, a new exhaust will always have a distinct smell until it gets a bit of miles in it. I actually anticipated this when I upgraded the exhaust in my old car, and planned the upgrade right before a road trip to get it burned out
