Default Helmet lift

So I recently downgraded to a brain bucket from a full face and I'm having problems with helmet lift at higher speeds. It fits snug, any suggestions?

I've had the same problem but it never risked flying away so I don't worry about it.

Could always cruise at more reasonable speeds

No windshield? It's been decades since I rode a bike without a windshield, but I'm pretty sure that's your problem.

You need to practise your biker scowl by tipping your head slightly down so the wind can swoosh easily past the helmet visor.....

I bought the Bell Pitboss that has a sizing knob in the back that actually solved the lift issue for me, even at 80 mpg. That little bit of technology they have really works great.

Unfortunately the Pitboss helmet is really uncomfortable. Its made of a harden styrofoam that doesn't mold to your head the way my other helmets did. After about 30 minutes I start getting headaches. I've worn it thinking I might be able to "break it in", but that just not happening.

How did you loosen it up? Did you cut back the padding or styrofoam?

I love my Pit Boss helmet. Just don't crank the knob so tight.
