Best cost effective lockable hard bags for a C90 BOSS

Just bought a C90 BOSS....(don't be offended if I didn't follow your great advice on my "C50 upgrade to a C90 " thread)...lol....Anyway. I need good and not toooo expensive locakable hard bags for it. I saw Mutazu MU bags that looked good on a C50. I guess those would also fit the C90? Let me know what works for you. Need big and black ......to match the BOSS look and hold my helmet and other stuff.

Hey, Ron, congrats! I have a feeling you're gonna like the bike a lot.

So you didn't get the touring model? The OEM hard bags for the C90 B.O.S.S. look pretty good, IMHO.

P.S. I'm a BIG fan of LeatherLyke bags, if they're available to fit your new machine. Capacious, high quality, and no extra cost for mounting hardware, so they're more affordable than they seem at first glance.

Thank you WW. I'm pretty sure I got my original lowering bones from you back in 2009 for my first ever bike (April) .......for free as I remember. Gave them away later to someone else after much use. Stay warm and thanks for the advice. I'll look into those bags.

Congrats!

I've heard Vikingbags.com are really good. I'm looking at getting a pair myself. They are leather-like on the outside and a hard inner. Lockable I think starts around $160 and you can see what it looks like on your bike in the pictures. They also come with hardware.

I can't take credit for that, Ron, tho' I have given stuff away here. I never lowered my C50.

FWIW, it looks like LeatherLyke bags are not available for the 2013 and later C90. Boo!

Viking has had customer service issues in the past. I'd check recent reviews to see if they have improved.

Mutazu's are ABS plastic. While value-priced, you do get what you pay for.

I agree with Chris...LeatherLyke's are a great option. If you plan on keeping the bike for a while, I'd consider spending a bit more (because it's not my money) and go with Tsukayu.

Mutazu bags are prone to cracking and hardware failures after only a few season. It is a case where you definitely get what you pay for.

Yes they are WonderWoman.....I mean Woodswoman.....I talked to the home office and they just had some come off the line. They are on the way...Woop, Woop!! Thanks again. I also looked and liked Viking bags but for some reason (which I've forgotten) I couldn't get the ones I wanted. I think I will be happy....Oh hell, I'm always happy!

Just shows you how forgetful I am. Leatherlyke did NOT have the bags I wanted available and I bought the Viking bag after calling them because most of them were not available either. So I got this one... https://www.vikingbags.com/ssearch?w=11811
