I have the same one. Great unit for the price. When closed I found that it rattled as it did not shut tight. Used some self stick foam gasket at the corners, solved the issue.

That collective gasp you just heard is from the Harley purists, no it's not a TourPack and no it did not cost $800. It goes on the bike 5 or 6 times a year when the wife decides she wants somthing to lean against, and I tell you when it's on, it's the handiest damm thing I can think of. And yes, I kinda think it spoils the look of a Street Glide too, function over form in this case.

Have the same trunk w/o the rack on top, with matching bags. I would have prefered top loading bags but they came with the bike. As they say it's not a heavy duty plastic. My wife doesn't have any problems with the backrest. I can put a fullface helmet in it & still have a little room left.

I have one too, I beat mine up pretty good by overloading it on a 1200 mile trip I ended up breaking one of the hinges and I modified it by using a gate hinge, the seal wears in the corners where the lid sits on the seal I put some sticky backed foam on the lid and that took care of the rattle. I mounted mine on a aluminum plate almost the size of the trunk, I did that because I was going to haul tools for work in it so I wanted it stable. You'll love having it as it does hold alot of stuff. I didnt install the rack on mine and I looks good.

Thanks for the pic Viper...looks like something I can use on my bike for now until I can figure out what kind of saddlebags I want. And you're right, the price of it sealed the deal for me. : )
