Anybody installed something like this on the C90T?

Will it fit?

Wow... $900 bucks for music on the bike? Sounds like a stereo that a thief might like more than me.

That radio outfit shouldn't be too much trouble to install on a C90, but just for ships and giggles.......

For around a grand, You could install a Tsukayu fiberglass fairing with radio and speaker cutouts. A radio is not included, unless specifically ordered.

Any standard sized auto radio will fit the opening, and either 6.5" round or 6" X 9" speakers fit, according to the speaker openings ordered.

Click on the link below, and wait about 2 minutes to download the radio/fairing video.

FWIW: the fairing will hold it's value quite well, should You desire to remove the fairing and sell it at some future date.

Wonder about the "stash box". They don't say or show that it is lockable. Not much point of putting the face plate in there if you can't lock it up.

Also, wonder about the CD player option? Does anyone here actually play a CD while riding? With any stereo mounted over the front forks (fairing mounted or otherwise) aren't you going to feel every vibration in the road and the CD will skip, especially on the real bad bumps and potholes?

I had a CD player in the Jensen unit that I originally got with my Wide Open Custom fairing but never used it. Because of the extreme angle that the stereo mounted in the fairing it was pretty much unusable.

Here's some images from the Tsukayu Company:

If You decide to order a Tsukayu fairing, check with outfits such as Phat Performance, as the Tsukayu products are usually better priced there, and sometimes shipped free.
Also, look online for a 5% or 10% off coupon code...it'll be something like SPRING5 or SPRING10.

There ya go.

They do a super paint job on those fairings and bags, if You don't have the equipment to paint.

Each to their own......

Personally I've never seen the point of a sound system on a bike, if you want music get an MP3 player.

One of the groups I ride with has a guy on one of the big Victory Tourers, you can hear him before you see him as his stereo is so loud. I'm sure he thinks all the folks turning to look and point are impressed........unfortunately he can't hear the comments that accompany the stares.

Cheers, Ozrider

My personal preference is to not wear anything directly in my ears, which could prevent hearing an emergency siren, a horn blast, etc.
