Looks like it would cost me $310 plus crush seals to change and get the quiet kore baffles . Just to shorten the pipes 8 inches or so. after I sold my straight shots It would still probally cost me $125 so ill probally pass.

You're right.....you shouldn't have asked. Seriously though, you just have to hear them. You can really "describe" it. It's deep, loud and rumbly. Somewhere around here there used to be sound bytes of the various pipes, but not sure if that's still around. Your best bet is to meet up with someone who has them and listen to them.

Sickboy,
When you installed yours did you use the factory hardware to bolt the pipes to the engine? The flanges on the new pipes are alot thicker and i didn't feel the old shorter bolts threaded into the engine far enough so I had to get some longer ones. Did you notice that during your install? |
