Default Passenger Foot Peg Extensions

Hi All

I am thinking about getting some extensions for my Passenger Pegs. I found these from Highway Hawk:

http://www.bikercom.com/WebCommerce/...dProdLT=317396

Has anyone used these and if so any comments good/bad?

Are there others that you would recommend?

Cheers!

When the Vol was my Hubby's and I was on the back he fabricated a bracket and just switched what side the pegs were on and VOILA! Peg extensions. Others here have done it as well.

Hi Joserod

Thanks for the comments. Those peg extensions look great. Are they the ones from Waynesville Cycle Center? Here is a link:

http://www.waynesvillecycle.com/footpeg_extensions.htm

I checked out the Highway Hawk extensions today at my local bike shop and it looks like they only go out, but not down.

The ones you have are exactly what I am looking for.

Thanks again!

Would these work with the OEM passenger floorboards? Has anyone done this?

The OEM passenger boards bolt directly to the frame, replacing the original foot peg brackets. (Cobra passenger boards mount the same way).
The Highway Hawk and Grand Canyon extensions utilise the original brackets to mount to the bike.
Your OEM passenger boards won't work with any extensions that I'm aware of.
