Another update cuz I feel like it.
![]() My leg started to swell up last week so I made an appt with the doc for today. Got my xrays this morning and then went to his clinic. Doc says everything is fine. The swelling may have been due to a piece of scar tissue that popped loose when I moved my leg a certain way after telling him about some sharp pain I had when I did that. He asked when I had the surgery and I told him 2 days past Father's Day. He then asked "this year?" to which I said yes. He said he thought I had it done last year for how well I am doing walking and such. So I was really glad to hear that! Of course I told the doc that it certainly doesn't feel like I am healing as fast I expect it. He hears that alot evidently. So hopefully this will be the last time I need to see him, at least for a longggg time. Thanks to all who had sent thoughts and prayers during my time of need. It certainly seems to have helped! I am trying to return the favor those who are in need now here. Stay safe!

Well since I posted sad news about my sister passing in another thread recently, I thought I would also post a more positive one now. My leg is definitely getting better, still not 100% as I'm still unable to fully extend it like before the accident. Close but no cigar as they say. I can walk on it more often without it getting sore so that is good. I may do some more therapy come spring time but not sure yet. I do hope to get it to extend all the way as before at some point.
Thanks for all the well wishes! Keep safe out there!
