Default Help there`s a hole in my head :(

ok guys was cleaning the motor up this morning when i discovered a hole in the head on the right side between the 4th & 5th fins about an inch and a half back from the exhaust port? is that suppose to be there? it does have oil coming out of it ever so slightly but is coming out...what is that and is it suppose to be there or should i plug it? thnx for any and all help....its a 1999 suzuki 1500 intruder thnx again guys

I think its a water drain.

Why would there be a water drain on a air cooled engine.

the vl800 is water cooled.

I'm not familliar with that engine, but if you look further you will probably find a slight leak above and that hole is preventing a build up of oil.

He has a 1500 it is air cooled
