That was the answer the first shop had after replacing the TPS.if I turn the idle up it will idle at 1500rpm for a little bit then its like it starts hunting for a lower idle and will start going down, down and die. then the darn thing is hard to start. wife was with me the last time it happened on the road. Not a good thing!

On the 07, the fuel filter is a part connected to the fuel pump, which is inside the fuel tank. If the fuel filter is clogged, it could cause this issue.
Does your FI light come on? If so, I would change out the spark plugs first. A couple of months ago I had basically the same issue, except my FI light would come on. I replaced the spark plugs, and while I had the tank off, I shook the gas in the tank alot (in case some junk was in the tank, on in the fuel filter, and poured out the gas), I disconnected/reconnected every connector I saw. Once you have the tank off, you can remove the fuel pump from the bottom of the tank. You can then remove/clean the fuel filter. It is not difficult, especially if you get a Clymer repair manual-very good details and pictures.
