Smile Help! Forward controls

I purchased a 2008 Boulevard M50 - with forward controls. Unfortunately, before purchase I THOUGHT I did enuf research, but now that the bike is mine, I'm finding it's a little more complicated to reverse these forward controls.

The previous owner raised the gear shifter lever pretty high to accommodate his big heavy shoes - I can't seem to lower it - any pearls of wisdom out there? I'd sure appreciate it.

Where the linkage connects to the tranny, you should be able to loosen the yoke around the spline and twist it forward a couple notches on the spline to lower the shifter.

Yes, done - thanks, the shift lever has now been lowered.

I'm finding the forward controls are just too much forward so I want to reverse the forward back to stock. Just wonder if anyone would have the stock parts that I could purchase off them - maybe someone else would like the forward controls? Just a thot.
