I already have the Stebel horn but don't know where the heck to install it! I didn't get the chrome horn so I'd like to install it so its not noticeable. Any ideas? Where did other Stebel owners install their horn? Thanks.

I put mine on the left down tube where the cobra bars bolt on. I didn't get the chrome one either and it looks just fine imo where it is. There's a pic of someone's bike with it located exactly where mine is on one of these threads.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about installing the horn in place of the tool kit under the seat. I figured that since it's so loud I could install it where ever I wanted. It should still be quite a bit louder than the stock horn. Any ideas?

On the other side of the bike there is a cover where I have 2 horns, a relay, and a garage door opener installed. Might fit in there but I don't know. There is a couple of 6mm threaded holes just waiting for something inside that cover.
Not a great shot but you can see the horns here, right above the exhuast pipe.

Hey VOlusia;
Are your horns still pretty loud installed in that location? Most people are telling me not to install under the seat because they will be muffled. I figured I could overcome the so called muffler with brute decibels.

Probably muffled some but it still sounds like a chevy pickup rather than something more squishable, at least it makes the cagers look twice.

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. **** near got killed by some idiot back in December. Had the stock horn blaring the entire time but never got his attention until the next stop light. Shouldn't be a problem with the Stebel horn! Thanks for all the help.
