From what I've been able to find specification-wise the VL800 got FI with the C50 rebadge in 2005. (also gained 16lbs. Prolly all the FI gobbldeegook)

I would love to know what caused the 84lbs. of weight gain myself...I would suspect that they added more reinforcement to the frame and/or switched over from steel to chromoly...but I dunno.

Mines a 2005 C50 with FI, that was a big seller for me as I've had enough trouble with carbs on my passed motorcycles
