From the outside, the modded drive unit looks identical to the stock one. There is no appearance/ physical difference with the exception of the drive shaft has been shortened.

There are photos available of the two drive (stock vs C90) shafts laying next to each other with a ruler to show the difference in dimensions.

Yes, they the same except the KruZ drive is a bit chunkier.

I used to dread the interstate. Now its much more enjoyable. Thanks to BigBird for putting this together. If anyone is thinking about doing this mod but has reservations, let me put your mind at ease. This is money and time well spent. IMHO this puts the gearing for the C50/M50 right where it should have been from the factory. Suzuki messed up, this fixes it.

If you get the chance to do this to your bike, you won't be sorry.

Mitch
I'm planning on getting one.

BB Just sent my deposit to your Pay Pal with the help of my daughter. She has an account. I'm pumped. I have never worked on bike before. Did some stuff on cars when I was young, had a 55 Chevy and a 69 Camaro convertible in the 70's and 80's. Can't afford a classic muscle so decided a bike would be fun. Found an 03 volusia intruder silver and green for sale. Super Reasonable Super Nice lookingi thought it was a HD Now I see that there's all kinds of stuff you can do to them as time and money permit so I'm looking forward to beefing it up a little. Any suggestions on exhaust mods that gain hp without being too loud? Thanks...Geo

Welcome to the VR. You're right. Start saving your "milk money" right away. Modding is infectious.
As far as quiet exhaust goes, don't buy the Jardine 2 into one like I did (see pix)
