This is not my first bike. I had an 1984 Kawasaki Ninja 900. Had to sell it because I was tired of fixing it and needed the money to put myself thought the police academy. I saved some money up and got the itch to get another bike. I figured I'd like something more practical than another sport bike and a cruiser would suit my needs. I scoured Craigslist for a midrange metric bike. I decided a Honda Shadow would be perfect, but then I found a 2004 Volusia with 12,000 miles. I liked the vintage styling and bigger engine. Not to mention it had Vance and Hines pipes and a windshield already installed. The previous owner was asking $2,300 but I offered him $2,000. He accepted and I drove home an amazing bike.
