The New Guy
My name is Mike (Hawg is my road name) and I just joined tonight. I have a 2002 Volusia that I bought in 07 for $500. She had been parked in a mans back yard for a few years without as much as a tarp over her. I bought a new battery and he poured about a gallon of gas in her. Took about 15 minutes to get her to fire up but she did and I rode her home with my wife following close behind. Over the next 3 months I changed changed fluids, hoses, plugs, ect... Since then, she has seen several states and all kinds of weather! Over the years I have had people tell me I need to "upgrade" to a Harley but honestly, I'm perfectly happy with my 10 year old little red scooter!

Welcome Hawg. These sure are nice bikes. Not perfect, but real nice.
What state do you claim home to?

Welcome. Where are you from? Also, I will assume you bought it in '07 and not '97

Kids were going crazy when I posted the original! I claim Tennessee as home and yes, bought her in 07! I will post a pic of her as soon as I figure out how to get it here from the phone.
