Just joined recently & am looking at Boulevard 50 series (used).
Anyone have thoughts on the S50? With the carb concern as I'm in WI & like to ride during cold weather-are there start issues w/it? Thanks. |

I have just joined but had my 02 Volusia for about 5 years. Here in Tennessee I have hit the road in single digit temps on more than one occasion. She is a little slow to start but does just fine after a few minutes of warming up. Wish I could say the same for my gloves...

I believe '06 and up are all FI. I have and '08 with FI and I LOVE the FI; start and go, easy to adjust with an add-on FI controller, if we were in Scotland I'd have to say it's completely brilliant.

Welcome from Maryland, I have to agree, the FI is great, hit the start button and go no matter what the temp is.
