I got my courage up for this trek last year, then the date was cancelled or rescheduled or I lamed out....who can really remember? Went over schedules with my wife yesterday and I'm free for this ride.
Long ride from Worcester, never been there....so who can I hook up with (and where) to follow down to the pie?
Thanks
I have the day off. I wrote it in my schedule.
Kelly has the day off and did the same.
We'll be leaving New Britain (near the 84 on ramp) so you can meet up with us. She's coming from Springfield by car so maybe you can hook up there and cruise down 91?
From there its a commuter lot (maybe) where I usually meet Dennis and Ken.
Hey Dennis - I was thinking that we can meet off exit 17 on 84 in Waterbury. There's a commuter lot that's convenient. Just take the exit until you hit the traffic light, left at the light, and the lot is about 1/8 mile down Rte 63 on the left, just past where you'd get back on the highway. Let me know what you think and if that's okay, what time to be there.
sounds like a good place to me....so anyone wanting to ride along feel free to meet us there by 8:45...
than onto our next meet point
PA Welcome center...
Exit 53, gas right at the end of the exit, Welcome Center less than 1/2 mile down on the left (if you're exiting Westbound 84) tons of parking, picnic tables, nice big clean bathrooms, etc.
eventually making it to the farmers by noon or close to it."
By the commuter parking lot in Ct a short ways down is a gas station and I believe a bathroom available...please take the opportunity to use both if needed...last times trip was a nitemare...Kelly took the opportunity to empty out while 2 riders didn't take the opportunity to gas up...one of those hmmmmmmm things....

Just FYI there are two Park and Ride lots in that area. The one off Exit 17 is Here. Looks about 2 hrs from Worcester. I'll meet you there 8:45 AM, empty bladder...full gas tank. :applause: Thx.
Any Delaware destroyers going?? Penciltuckians, Marylanders front and center... Hope to meet up with Edracer and Kang? Weather for Sunday....Sunny...so far.
I'm in . We are doing the river ride again. not sure which rest area to meet at:biglaugh::bigoops::bigoops: anyone who would like to meet up, we can arrange that. times are negotiable. Lu? Duglaura - pm sent.
wait till your in your 60's...bladder is never empty...and that 2 minute warning...well..soon as that warning comes, you probably have inside of 20 seconds...just enough time to pull over, dismount and hopefully make it to the nearest tree...hopefully...crap shoot really.
"Let’s talk about riding to Cooperstown to scope a place for OctoVRfest when we are at the Bakery."
Someplace not on a mountainside, one hopes.
