So little time in the saddle this year, so to force myself to get away from work figured I'd lead a nice scenic back roads ride to see our friend Curtis in Putney VT.

Ride will kick off at the Pride gas station in Ludlow which is right off the turnpike across from the Friendlies parking lot we used to meet at.

The Pride station has bathrooms and coffee, along with an area to sit.

KSU at 10:00am, we will arrive at Curtis at 12:00-12:30 or so.

150 miles or so round trip from Ludlow

Those who do not wish to meet in Ludlow can meet us at Curtis BBQ at 12:00-12:30

Hope you can join us, rain date October 9th

will hopefully make another attempt if I can make it to Bubs to check out the site of the 2017 Yankee Rally...pretty much right in the immediate area. So will be leaving early and meet you all there.

Curtis BBQ, Dennis, Curtis....

Bub's is in Mass. Close to Mikes maze which could be another fall ride, lunch at Bub's then hit Mikes maze.

yeah...don't know why I mentioned Bubs...another good place tho...good spread...curtiss's...home of the late pig...right down the road is where we are having the rally next year...went to curtiss's on my way home from maine...got to the big bus..had lunch...spoke to the chef...realized I didn't have the name of the place we will be using as a home base...rode around looking maybe I could recognize the name......couldn't recognize the names of any of the lodging establishments...turns out I went right past it.

hoping to do an Iggys meet out your way before the riding season ends...so many rides/lunches to do yet...so little time... need an understanding Zeussman to extend the riding season somewhat...think the guy can be bought...

Yup Dennis, I am keeping my eyes out for this. If it is a Thursday, I may make it a long lunch date. I will work my A$% off for the rest of the week to cover the time I will be away.

Alrighty. This sounds like a good ride and I'm gonna try and make it. Like everyone else, I haven't had nearly as much saddle time this summer as I'd like. Family health issues have taken and continue to take up a lot of our time. Hope to see everyone Oct. 1st.

again realized from last weeks OctVRFest how important it is for me to make the effort to make it to these things and spend some time with our family here...figure if I can go 10-12 hours to Ohio and come home glad I got to spend some time with folks I don't often get a chance to see, catch up on whats been going on, share a few laughs...Vt really is just a cup of coffee away. Keeping fingers crossed ZeussMiester wakes up in a good and favorable mood.

:surprise:This is not good, hope all is well. If there is anything a brother can do, send me a message.

I am still planning on going. Looking forward to it

Jay, I've got another Benefit ride planned for Oct 1st in Hampton, NH.
If there is another fall ride in October I'll probably go.
