Yea, I'd prefer a solid roof when the women are along. I've camped under a canoe in 20 degree weather, but that's me. Let me know about your friend's place. We're not after 5 star. How many units or how many people will it accomadate? I should have run up to Boaz and met you today, I was out warming up the bike and it was beautiful. You're only about 15-20 min away.

Actually I live right here at walnut grove, about 5 minutes or so from west end grocery heading up the middle cove. just came in from installing my front tire.
The place I am talking about is a hotel/ condo type, the one we stayed in had a kitchenette, 1 queen size bed and 2 sofas. not sure about the rest of the rooms but as soon as this guy calls me back , I will post.

GREAT, neighbor (only 10 minutes away) I live in Snead. Let me know when you get in touch with this guy. Does this sound like a good idea to you? interested in going? I know it's early but you have to get reservations early or you miss out. What do you think about this..... #292694- Ask About 7th Night Free in This Beautiful Beachfront Condo! Of course it would limit participation to 10 but would be very cheap when divided up, and look at that view. Probably more of these available also because it is a condo group. Just getting ideas. Let me know what your friend says.

Just looked over that resort. Looks great and if you can get us good rates that would be super cool. Great location, big pool, exercise room, etc. And I think it said up to 4 (or more) to a room for those who want to save $$. Expensive parking but maybe we can overcome that. I'm getting excited.

I was at spring break by mistake last March and I don't want to do that again. It was a jungle.

I like this place, with 4 bedrooms, would come out as cheap if not cheaper than the top of the gulf.

I will most likely be at the Thunder Rally....Long story but a longtime female friend just started dating a guy who rides, got her into riding...and apparently they love this rally and already have condo booked and such. They were like, "You ought to go!" Looking forward to the ocean breeze on the bike!! Will prob just be there Thu-Sun as we are all traveling together.

Instead of dividing the rent up by the head, we can divide it up by the bed! Still comes out to about $50.00 to $60.00 per night per bed. Still not bad. I think there are more then one condo's available also. I'll call and check on that. Sorry we'll miss you TNrookie, but things could change before then.
Did you get a rate quote, tidcab? They gave me one of around $450 for 4 days per unit (that sleeps 4-5. ). 2 br one Bath. That will take some bathroom sharing but is pretty economical. I've got plenty more calls and e-mails on quotes to read. I suppose it would be "easiest" for everyone to have their own unit but the costs go up fast that way. Would not expect men to share beds, however if there are extra women that........What? Yes Dear. I have to get off here now...talk to you guys later.

I've stayed here many times about 20 years ago. Very nice and kind of away from the main drag. Armed guard at the gate.
