I'm definitely going, but this year I'm heading up Friday afternoon/early evening to (hopefully) beat the crowds.. I really wanna poke at all these bikes and not have to fight the huddled masses

Looking forward to seeing the new NC700X Honda (know someone that just bought one).

hate to admit it...went to a show in hartford once...probably the same circuit that does the springfield show...huge disappointment... then again we are talking Hartford...enough said I guess...sure ny city isn't going to be anything less than top shelf...love the city but the

in me doesn't have the patience in me at this time of year...just being honest with myself...have a nice time all.

I understand they are running normally.

The Springfield show was awful last year. There were bike builders listed on the web site who were not there. The whole show was reduced from 2 buildings to only one. I wanted to buy one thing -- a particular model of helmet from Shoei -- and not a single vendor had ANY helmets from the 'big boys' like Shoei or Nolan. Nuthin' but cheap skid lids. Only thing that salvaged the experience was hangin' with some of the Yankee crew for lunch and, later, a hockey game.

It costs Mike and I a whole bunch to take the train down to NYC for the Progressive show, but at least there's stuff to look at once you get there.

Of course, the last time we went to the NYC show, Mike got his first look at the Kawasaki Vaquero, and we all see how that went. This time, he wants to look at Honda's new Goldwing bagger.

Yep, the NY show had lots of models I wanted to sit on, but they would only let you sit on the bikes!
