Well, yes, in a way I suppose it is. But since it is (I think) unlikely that folks from the Hudson Valley would go as far as Pomfret in late November, I doubt that offering an alternative will damage Dennis' ride at all.

think whats important is for anyone wanting to get together for one last meet to find a location which is practical for others in that general vicinity to be able to get to such place in a reasonable amount of time especially not knowing how cold it can be earlier or later in the day for riding. I realize this location may not suit all and at the same time, hope those further away and not really desiring to ride as far do understand why the location was selected. Recent lunch meets have given many of us the opportunities to close the riding year out with that one last get get together and I usually try to select locations which does offer availibility for others further away. I know mike and Chris understand this and I like their idea of trying to get those too far away for this deesert meet to still be able to get together with those in the family here. As we all know its all about the commoraridie.

Appreciate for your understanding, Dennis. Not wanting or intending to steal your thunder, just wishful to get together with at least some of the VR family -- for whom I am so very thankful.
