from another thread I just posted in...

remember passing this place on our "farthest northeastern point" ride a group of us took back in 2011..Lubec,Maine..I mean....it would only be around 400 miles...each way...give or take a mile...or two...or three...think the group would bite...have to remember now..this is a "meet for dessert" ride...

I think Sunday is going to be a very busy traffic day with everyone returning from their Thanksgiving destinations.

"May she above bless you with better results then I" - Had mine done a couple few years ago. Minor tear, minor Arthritus. Months of therepy later, along with some self inflicted damage the first two days home, and now I am left with the inability to get down on my knees and only 50% strength in my right leg.

thanx for the encouraging thought...thats my fear...what everyone tells me...a simple you'll be 100% in no time...procedure...then the infamous cloud of doom comes a calling and I end up walking like "Festus" for the next 20 years....

No big deal these days. I had mine done years ago when it was 3 holes, don't stand on it for 3 days, then holy crap the knee felt like it was about to explode, then all is good. Now I know someone who had it done last month. 2 holes, on your leg right away. How you deal with anasthesi (sp) is probably the biggest issues, although I don't know if they put you under anymore either. In any event, good luck!

I think when I had mine done 5 years ago, I missed two days of work, and two or three weeks of riding. Of course, back then I was a lot younger than you are now.
