I'm heading out right now wiith a hair dryer to melt the snow from the roads that will be journeyed to get there...gotta do whatever it takes...of course rain tommorrow not mixed with snow would be nice too...that said, think I'll put the hair dryer aside for now...could always do a pre-ride on fri/saturday with a spray bottle of water getting the salt, if any, off the roads. What we will do for a ride.....hmmmmmmmmm.

**** you Dennis! This was my driveway this morning! Snow blower and shovels still in the shed. Wade thru 2 foot drifts to get there. At least the blower started on the first pull once it was drapped out and gassed up!

They sure did around here. My riding season is over.

funny how it hit ct. scott...my daughter got 8 inches in glastonbury...we probably ended up with around 6 and unfortunately the nasty wet stuff...guess old man winter is planting his roots for the season.

Did you folks who got the wet snow suffer tree damage? I assume you still have leaves on your trees.

luckily the effects of the high winds from Sandy removed all the leaves and I spent the past week cleaning all the leaves from the yards...looking at all the heavy wet miserable looking snow right now...yes miserable looking... glad I didn't procrastinate on raking/blowing the leaves...still rather have been riding instead of raking but at least this time one of the very few correct decisions I've made in a long time.

We only got a couple of inches up here - since it was little accumulation they laid down lot's of salt and sand instead of plowing......Grrrrr!!!!

Got over 12" at my place plus the wind. And yes, the wind took out all the leaves and the majority of the rest I cleaned up last Sunday. Gardens still got them and need to blow out the gutters again but Old Man Winter has reared his ugly head. 2 hours to go 26 miles on the way home last night left me really cranky this morning.
