This ride was done in 2010 and it was such a fun ride that I decided it needed to be done again. We are going to follow the exact same route as the last time as well (which was a combination of back roads and slab). We will be hitting Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
The date for this ride is going to be June 30, 2012. If a rain date needs to be scheduled then the ride will probably be postponed until a Saturday in August because July is already all booked up for me. The starting location is Brattleboro, Vermont and we will be ending in Smithfield, Rhode Island. People who stayed in Brattleboro last time stayed at the Econolodge. Address can be found: Econo Lodge Brattleboro 515 Canal St. Brattleboro, VT Most people did not stay overnight in Smithfield, RI, so if you plan on staying overnight in RI then it will sort of be "every man/woman for himself/herself". I would like everyone to stick around to have dinner together after the ride before everyone goes on their separate ways. We had a nice place last time, I will find the name of the place and post it back here. Edit: The restaurant is called "Effin's Pub", see the link below Effin's Last Resort .: Pub n' Grill :. Located at: 325 Farnum Pike Smithfield, RI 02917 (401) 349-3500 Kickstands will be up in Brattleboro at 7 AM. We will plan on meeting at the Econolodge between 6AM and 6:30 AM (for anyone who is not staying over in Brattleboro) to assign groups and go over ride info and safety. Here is the map of the route: Link Found Here Map that includes the restaraunt as the end destination: 515 Canal St, Brattleboro, VT 05301 to Log Rd - Google Maps Attending: Purplefireflys8 (Heather) SGTdefender (Matt) jason1gp (Jason) Gregstur (Greg) 4D (Carlos) Rich H (Rich) Noxin

Bryon, There isn't a planned lunch stop/destination, each ride captain will use their discretion.
Noxin, it would be awesome if you could join us! This is a really great ride.

funny note...when we went thru toll ...other than Carlos who had the ez pass and flew right thru..the rest of us had to stop and pay...we pulled over and waited for each other to pay and then came to the conclusion none of us knew where we were going in RI... 5 miles up the road Carlos was waiting on the side of the highway. What I found quite amazing was how we broke up into i believe 3-4 small groups from the start and somehow we all managed to get to the restaurant within a half hour at the end of the day. Great day.

That mean your in Bryon? as long as the weather is nice it will def be an awesome ride. Havent done it yet but the route looks crazy. Kinda a cross country around New England, and the forgotten state of NY lol.

I haven't booked my room for Friday night yet, but count me in. With out a doubt, this ride was one of my most enjoyable experiences I've ever had on the bike. I would love to tailgun a group again.
