Default New Honda CTX Series

Unveiled today, Honda's new CTX series (comfort, technology, eXperience) is a bunch of new bikes, all with Honda's relatively new 670cc engine. Some interesting styles, and I like the mileage numbers and prices. Honda seems to be trying to buck the "need more horsepower" trend. Wonder if they'll be successful.

Boy, Ma Honda is staking a LOT on this new engine and tranny!

I find the design very reminiscent of the ill-fated Honda DN-01, which in the U.S. was a victim of the economic meltdown. Happily, this series of bikes has a *much* better price point, which should help it a great deal.

They look good and are practical too. I hope this move works out for Honda.

I had a hard time deciding between the NC700x and the C50. That motor gets outstanding economy and is pretty quick.

I greatly admire the design of the NC700X. Would love to try that riding position ... but, oh that seat height~! I'm not that tall. This new series of machines, however ... <drool>

You would LOVE the riding position, Chris. So much more comfortable than a cruiser.
