Default it came..it went..it came back

yeah...the white stuff here in the north...hope those in similar part of the country that actually gets to experience the "4 seasons" took advantage the past week of the opportunity to get out...but hey..we are 1 day closer to spring....wonder if I can use the Just had surgery on the knee card to get the wife to clear the driveway...didn't work last time although she did offer to try using the snowblower...yes... key word there...try...just figured she'd end up drifting off the side of the driveway...hit a rock...break the shear pin and then I have nothing... and then I'd be stuck having to shovel off a foot of snow...so I did it myself...the knee paid for it but worth the added discomfort...truly believe she must have been a blonde in a previous life...means well...just...no ...better not go there...maybe I should have just gotten her a brand new snowshovel for xmas... one in pink...top of the line model too of course...nothing to good for my honey...yep...then she would have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to try it out...guess its not too late to still go out and buy one...just tell her its an early birthday present (june)...you don't seriously think I would just go out and buy her one just because...are you nuts...sheez...fat chance..will be going into the secret stash c90 fund...hope there on sale tho...you know how expensive anything made specifically for a woman cost..

regular shovel $20

shovel designed for women (same shovel only in pink) $40

of course I could just buy a can of hot pink spray paint for $7 and spray one of the shovels we already have..put a big red bow on it..she'll never know...of course if she does figure it out she just might stick the whole shovel somewhere other than the snow... beginning to realize it will be alot simpler to just snowblow it myself again....

well better get started...like Dad always said..."Well ...what are you waiting for.. driveways not going to shovel itself..."

ah, and you sound like such a loving, doting husband! You better hope she doesn't peek at your words there, mister! Grab tight to your secret stash C90 fund...and maybe RUN FOR THE HILLS if she reads it!!

I'm amazed at your snowfalls - up here in Brampton (Toronto), we have lovely green grass with temps hovering around the freezing mark. Kinda wish we'd get a real dumping of snow - just so we can really start winter...'caz then we know for sure that SPRING is on its way. Certainly enjoyed a teaser of a spring weekend - was great to get on the bike ... and then came this cold week. The daffodils and tulips went back to bed.

Good luck with your next shovelling! Be generous to your honey there. Oh hey, you can always get her the perfect pink shovel for Valentine's Day?!?!?!!?!

Of course you could just buy some extra shear pins for 6.00.

Dennis save the money for the shovel and get some nice cookware. When the shovelin is all done so should dinner. Sit down relax and she'll even pour you a nice glass of wine for being so thoughtful

probably alot cheaper than a dozen roses...not that she doesn't deserve them...of course she does...short stem of course...I mean how can one put a value on someone having the patience, understanding ,and forgiveness to subject themself to spending a lifetime with someone like myself...almost feel tempted to throw in a dinner as well...almost I said...lets not get ahead of ourselves....next you'll have me making a stop at Victoria Secrets too...before you know it no more secret stash fund..

maybe 1 rose will do..it really is all about the thought isn't it...I'm a simple guy with simple needs...obviously she prefers simplicity in life. I'm sold...think she will be?
