My wife owns an `04 lehman Romani trike 800cc. Think I should replace the front tire with a same sized REAR tire since it wont lean?? Can/should I REVERSE the tread as well??

Sure, also find car tires the proper size for the rear and you will not only be double darkside but triple dark. You'll get alot of mileage and a better ride.

You should put an original size motorcycle tire on the front of your wife's trike.
Trikes require enough upper body strength as it is to turn, (because it don't lean), anything larger is going to make steering heavier.

You will not get any wear advantage by putting a rear tire in the front, either.

I also agree with the Vipe, the steering on a trike is the same geometry as on the motorcycle, as nothing has changed up front.

People put rear tires on the front of heavy cruisers and the tire you would be putting on the front of this bike sounds pretty small so disregard the naysayers advice. If your wife is larger than a small child and isn't going drifting she'll be fine.
Hope this helps

As far as a car tire, you have spokes. Unless you are going to a cast wheel or sealing the spokes bike tire makes sense. Rear tires are reversed in front because of the way water is dealt with, pattern of treads, if you use on front, reverse tire.
Welcome to the site, is your wife on the site?
