got out yesterday again...only for about an hour before having to head into work but sweet just the same...they say...and btw...who the h#ll is "they" ...wonder if they have to pay dues...or do they just exist to give uninvited opinions...anyhow..they say that we can expect more of that white stuff tommorrow...the least they could do is give us happy news once in a while...maybe we can get they to put on a fresh pot of coffee...fat chance I'm sure. Truly believe they are a select group of a certain gender whose main purpose in life is to drive man crazy.

You getting people looking at you strange too from their cars in the mornings? It is chilly (by SoCal standards), but we get a upper 30's-low 40's snap just about every year... Heated gear would be really nice, but the cold(er) temps don't last long enough to justify the gear's price IMO.

I agree with you LkwdC50B. During our SoCal winter I use a my Firstgear textile jacket with the thinsulate liner and a fleece vest but this cold snap has been colder than most. It's around 30 degrees when I leave my house in Santa Clarita for work, so I added another fleece liner. It's a Coretech and I bought it brand new for $10 at the International Motorcycle show in Long Beach a few weeks back. Del Amo Motorsports was there clearing out their gear and they had some great deals.

Between those liners, my long underwear, my full shield and lowers.. I'm doing just fine. And yes, I love those strange looks from the cagers!

Last Sat. 34 but sunshine and blue skies, what was I gonna do? Had to fire it up and take a short ride. Yup it was cold for legs, even with cold weather riding pants, and hands. Supposed to be close to 50 this saturday so out I'll go again. ride safe folks.
