This show is the "big one", and will have all the big manufacturers and farkle guys. I'd say it is worth the price.

I've been going to the show in Chicago for the past 12 years. If you like looking and sitting on a large number of bikes and being able to see and buy accessories for you or your bike then the $18 is worth it. But check bike shops around you and find a discount coupon, never pay full price. I have progressive insurance and they send out a discount for the show.

Good for getting all the other stuff you need....like a nice selection of gloves, helmets, earplugs, etc.....the bikes are nice too. Its a nice way to run around and sit on different bikes, especially when comparing two or more....back and forth, back and forth, until you have to stop to look at the models.

Good point about the earplugs. A couple years ago I had custom molded earplugs made at the show, and they rock!

Yeah, I could have picked up a Soflx visor form Bell for $90, but I said NAH!
2 months later bought 2 at full retail. Dope. Bought 3 pairs of gloves, cheap, and you can try on all you like, just take them off the rack. .....and of course there's the.... ........bikes!!!

It's a great show to go to. As the others already pionted out you can test sit on plenty of bikes and compare, get good deals on gear and clothing close outs, check out the lovely ladies and get free parking if you ride. Plus if you are have the proper riding attire: boots, gloves & helmet, you can do the demo rides too. For $18 = definitely worth it.
