Default oil leakin' Harley wannabe

Next thing you know she'll start shaken! Now that the shoulder has heeled I got back to my oil leaking sending unit. Can't tell if it's leaking from the wire screw or from the threads into the block since I've put a couple hundred miles on it since I last looked and the bottom side is a little greasy. I was able to tighten it about 1/2 a turn. Cleaned everything up with brake cleaning fluid. Does anybody know of the auto equivalent for a 2003 sending unit?

There bad about leaking straight through and out through the screw threads, dont think youll find an auto one that will work.

Mystery solved. Went for a ride yesterday after cleaning things up. Out this morning. Vola! spots on the floor. Filter was loose.

The Oil Filters come with an instruction to check for oil leaks after installing and using for a while. But motorcycles are vibration machines with a leak later on a possibility making an oil leak filter check now and again a good plan.

A couple of drops of red Loctite will solve that filter loosening problem
Just kidding folks, don't do that.
