It was the best New Year of my life. After overcooking chewy steak, and steaming the crap out of the lobster tails, burning the melting butter, finding out one baked potato was rotten inside............went to sleep at 9:30, the whole family over my house, totally ignored anything to do with midnight.

Then New Year's day wasn't as cold and the roads weren't icy, just wet here and there. Did all I could to not jump on the bike and ride around manhattan. Decided to stay with the family, all day.........but the itch was there all day.
