I have these mounted on my engine bars. They are extremely bright.
And very well made.

Model 30 LED off road Spot light

I would also recommend the heavy duty brackets. I mounted mine with
1 1/4 shaft collars and they are very secure.

I like that idea. I'm not sure that I want a light bar since the bike looks pretty clean without one, but I was planning on adding engine bars. This could be the best of both worlds! Just don't tell my wife about my plans!

I went with this HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning
55w, H4 Hi/Lo, 6000k bulb color.

Very very insanely bright.

I have a few sets of these 10W LED lights
10W Waterproof Cool White LED Flood Wash Underwater Light Lamp Bulb 12V Outdoor | eBay
Amazingly bright. The set I have on my M50 are modified CAR driving lights with a 10W LED grafted into them. I run them all the time and sit on custom clamps that attach to the fork tubes. Only use .85 amps each and are almost as visible as the HID headlight.
There are several sellers and the temperatures vary from Cool white to Warm white (I like the Cool white) Look on EBAY for the lowest supplier. The bodies are all aluminum and waterproof (Silicone seals)
Anything to add visibility is a good thing.

Sounds like a wonderful idea. Anybody got the specs/instructions for proper aim?

My silverstar replacement bulb only lasted 2 months before it went out . At $25 a piece I wasn`t going to blow another $25 .

Wagner BP1210 80/100 bulb from NAPA. They last a long time and give out lots of light.

Properly aiming the healight is a must. As for the anemic bulb I replaced the stock one with a PIAA. It's very bright, whiter and not very expensive: Piaa H4 Xtreme White Anti Vib Motorcycle Headlight Bulb | eBay

FYI - BikerHighway is a great company to work with. Safemoto is their ebay store.
