Never had a problem.

I'm sure that if I wasn't using it, I could park my truck right over top of it.

One caveat Guys! The older revision of the lift (I have one) had a slightly longer deck that fit the frame rails better- The one they sell now BARELY is long enough to catch both rails on my M50- I added some angle to mine to make it longer by a couple inches- Works great now as the lip is a little taller so there's no way the frame rail can slip off the lift.
Love mine tho.. handy dandy
T-Man..I love that lift also- lots more cash and bigger to store!.. Wish I had room for one... or 2...lol

Hey Dave,I agree that the deck could be slightly longer. There is not much margin for lining up the frame on the rubber padding. The round edges on each side have no rubber covering and have slightly scratched some paint off the frame. ( is that what you mean by the lip?) Other than the lining up issue overall I am very happy with the product so far. Would you mind posting or sending me a picture of your mod? I have been contemplating a mod to mine. I am not quite sure what you mean by the lip is a little taller etc.
Cheers, George

I had to weld an extension to the deck for my friend to use this same lift on his 900 vulcan. As it stands it's wide enough (barely) to work on the Volusia as sold. That being said I will modify mine in the spring to make it easier to line up.

I have the same one and I use it to store the bike for winter, oil changes, or just a thorough wash

it's indeed pretty narrow for the c50 frame but I use a piece of plywood... so far so good!
