I got 18k miles on the front Metzler. Plenty of tread left.

I have matching Bridgestone Excedras on my front and rear. I've been very satisfied so far. Comfortable ride, good grip in both dry and wet conditions. I only have @ 4000 miles on them so far with almost no noticeable wear yet. According to Bridgestone they were specifically engineered for metric cruisers. Whatever that means. Lol

+1 I replaced my original tires with the ME 880 WWW as the originals were WWW on my C50T. The original tires lasted about 10k miles however the Metz already have about 8500 and are going strong. They handle much better than the originals also.

In my opinion, I find that the Metz 880's offer a high degree of confidence for traction, grip and mileage from start to finish. I'm very confident of the grip from the first mile to the very, very last mile. I've had other brand tires and have not felt that confidence all the way through the tread.
