Around 1975 very busy intersection. While stopping at a red light my left boot heal got trapped on my Yamaha 100 twin. I flopped like a fat person on a muddy hillside of Georgia red clay.
Imagine trying to get free, not get ran over and explaining why I fell to the man who came to my aid,,, all at the same time. What a rush!

That happened to me just last week on the S40. Only I had a witness. I was on the side of the road calling for a tow truck. A biker dude stopped to help. He sugjested we push it. I said ok. As we started he reached for the bars and fliped the kill switch. I felt like an ***. I tried to tell him it was the wifes bike but I don't think he was lisening. I don't use kill switches. If I do, I forget to turn off the key and wind up with a dead battery.
